A wee while ago I created three covers for a series of story book treasuries. I recently received the Bedtime Stories and Animal Stories from the lovely folks at Cottage Door Press. I’m thrilled with how they turned out, packed full of well known stories and fables, songs and rhymes and beautifully illustrated by a variety of talented illustrators. The metallic and spot UV touches definitely make them feel like books to be treasured.
Excited to see that How To Help a Hedgehog and Protect a Polar Bear is one of three finalists in the Best Children’s Publication category of the ACE Awards. Delighted to be in such great company and so glad this book is resonating with so many parents and children! Congratulations to all finalists and especially author Jess French and our awesome team at Nosy Crow.
Happy New Year! Here is a little article I wrote at the end of last year for the New Zealand Herald about what is in my bookshelf. Happy reading! Here’s a link to the online version https://www.pressreader.com/new-zealand/weekend-herald/20181215/283519386974613
It’s amazing to see How to Help a Hedgehog and Protect a Polar Bear not only hit No.1 Best Seller on Amazon UK recently, but also gathering some great reviews here in NZ and the UK. Thank you to all those who have bought a copy and sent me messages!
Here is one recent book review from NZ children’s book website The Sapling - a review of Factual Books in NZ.
