I have 3 works in the 'Garden Party' group exhibition at the Greenslade Gallery. The show opens this evening at 7pm and there will be a jazz band and club sandwiches on the go!
If you cant make it tonight the gallery is open Wednesdays 10am - 4pm and Thursdays 10am - 6pm. The exhibition runs from today till the 31st of March 2011. Hope to see you there!
At last I can reveal my friends at King St Advertisng have launched their BRAND NEW WEBSITE! Last year they asked me if I would do some illustrations around the concept of 'what you might encounter on a journey around town'. After submitting numerous sketches they selected a few and had them animated to create a super new website! It was a great project to work on and I love how the birds and postman were animated. Chinese New Year went off with a spectacular bang in Hong Kong and many rabbits attended - they even appeared in the fireworks display!
Arrived home this week to a huge pile of 'to do' lists. Still suffering from rather bad jet lag - time travel is difficult as NZ is 5 hours ahead of HK, so we are now in the future! We had a great time but its good to be home :)
This Chinese New Year, Lady Gelato made it onto the official 'red pocket' or 'Lai See' for Holly Brown! There are a limited edition being given away on Holly Browns facebook site.
